Join us at Rent Smart Devon on Thursday 22 May 2025. This free to attend event, kindly sponsored by Tozers LLP, will host exhibitions from specialist companies covering many aspects of property management, as well as support organisations, available to help smooth the tenancy pathway. There will be a range of experts on hand to answer your questions on the Renters’ Rights Act.
Doors open at 2pm for networking with presentations starting at 3pm. The 3 presentations will focus on the Renters’ Rights Act and its impact on:
- Enforcement: Dick Scott (Monitor BCS UK Ltd) presenting on the key legal changes and compliance requirements, offering insights into the new legal landscape for landlords, their obligations and how to remain compliant.
- Tenancy Management: James Gladwin (National Residential Landlords Association) presenting on tenants’ rights and enhanced protections and understanding the new rights and protections afforded to tenants.
- Possession: Jo Young (Tozers LLP) presenting on navigating the new possession processes following the removal of Section 21.
